• UTM parameters – Source, medium, campaign, and content tags from the URL you arrived from, used to measure advertising effectiveness
• Browser and device information – Collected automatically by our hosting provider (Netlify) in standard server logs

Payment Information

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number. We receive only a payment confirmation ID and the email associated with your payment.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Fulfill your order – Process your entry, send confirmation and welcome emails, ship your calendar
• Produce the calendar – Include your pet's photo and any special day/month features you purchased
• Communicate with you – Send order updates, photo upload reminders, shipping notifications, and Contest announcements
• Phone outreach – Contact you about optional upsell features (Featured Month, Special Day, Postcard Pack). You can opt out at any time by letting us know
• Improve our services – Analyze UTM and traffic data to understand how people find us and improve our marketing
• Customer support – Respond to your inquiries and resolve issues

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with the following service providers who help us run the Contest:

• Stripe – Payment processing
• Supabase – Secure database and file storage (hosts your entry data and pet photos)
• Netlify – Website hosting
• Zoho Mail – Email delivery for welcome emails and order communications
• Printing partner – Your pet's photo and name are shared with our printing partner solely for calendar production

We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Pet Photos

• Pet photos you upload are stored securely in our cloud storage (Supabase).
• Photos are used in the Paws & Whiskers 2027 Calendar and may be used in related promotional materials (social media posts, website gallery, future marketing).
• You retain ownership of your photos. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use them as described above.
• If you wish to have your photo removed from future use after the calendar is printed, contact us at hello@cutepawsandwhiskers.com.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including:

• HTTPS encryption on all pages
• Secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI-compliant)
• Database access controls and row-level security on Supabase
• Unique upload tokens for photo submission links (each link works only for the intended entry)

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and pet photos for as long as necessary to fulfill the Contest, ship your calendar, and handle any related customer service needs. This is typically through the end of 2027. After that, we may retain anonymized or aggregated data for business analytics.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

8. Cookies & Tracking

Our Site does not use cookies for tracking. We use UTM parameters in URLs to track which ads and campaigns bring visitors to our Site. This data is stored with your entry record and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access – Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
