Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paws & Whiskers 2027 Calendar Contest ("Contest") operated by Hello Pat ("we," "us," or "our"). By entering the Contest, purchasing a calendar entry, or using our website at cutepawsandwhiskers.com ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Contest Entry

• The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older.
• Each entry costs $30.00 USD plus $6.00 flat-rate shipping ($36.00 total).
• Each entry includes one (1) guaranteed spot in the printed 2027 Paws & Whiskers Calendar and one (1) printed calendar shipped to the address provided at entry.
• You may submit multiple entries for different pets. Each entry requires a separate payment.
• Entries are non-transferable.

3. Photo Submissions

• After payment, you will receive a welcome email with a link to upload your pet's photo.
• You may also reply to the welcome email with your pet's photo attached.
• Photos must be of your pet only. No people, humans, or other individuals may appear in the photo. Photos containing people will be rejected.
• Once your photo is submitted, it is final and cannot be changed, swapped, or replaced. Please review your photo carefully before uploading.
• By submitting a photo, you represent and warrant that you own the photo or have the right to use it, and you grant Hello Pat a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute the photo in the Paws & Whiskers Calendar, promotional materials, social media, advertising, merchandise, and any related publications.
• We reserve the right to reject any photo that is inappropriate, offensive, does not feature a pet, contains people, or is of insufficient quality for print. In such cases, we will contact you to request a replacement photo before the submission deadline.
• Photos must be submitted by the deadline communicated in your welcome email. If no photo is received, we may use a placeholder or contact you for a late submission.

4. Featured Spots & Upsells

• Featured Month ($127), Special Day ($67), and Postcard Pack ($29) are optional upgrades available via phone after entry.
• Featured Month and Special Day selections are limited and subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Featured spot purchases are non-refundable once the calendar design phase has begun.

5. Contest Winners & Prizes

There will be 13 total winners selected from all eligible entries:

• Winners will be selected by our editorial team based on photo quality, creativity, and overall appeal.
• Winners will be notified via the email address provided at entry.
• Prize details and values are approximate and may vary. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
• All selection decisions are final.

6. Calendar Production & Shipping

• Calendars are expected to be designed, printed, and shipped before December 2027.
• We will make reasonable efforts to meet this timeline but are not liable for delays due to printing, shipping, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Calendars ship to the address provided during entry. It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address. Address changes must be requested by emailing hello@cutepawsandwhiskers.com before the shipping date.
• We are not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged by the carrier after shipment.

8. Payment

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
• By making a purchase, you agree that all information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information.
• Upload photos that are offensive, violent, or infringe on others' rights.
• Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the Contest or Site.
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Hello Pat and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hello Pat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in the Contest. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your entry.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
